5052 aluminum plate
5052 marine grade aluminium is an AL-Mg series alloy aluminum plate, which contains chromium to help improve its resistance to stress corrosion cracking, increase the strength of the base metal and weld seam, and reduce the tendency of welding cracks. Like 5456 aluminum plate, the corrosion resistance of 5052 is not as good as 5083, so it is mostly used for ship superstructures, auxiliary components, and boat hulls.
